The metal roof cleaning process is slightly different than a asphalt shingle roof cleaning and more labor intensive. Cleaning metal roofs requires special roof anchors that attach to the seems and special padded shoes to keep from slipping and falling off. Metal roofs also require some brushing with a car wash brush and soap followed by a thorough rinse of every square inch. We have magic recipes for every other surface but not metal roofs. They are tough work and tricky, so leave it to us!
We have two methods of cleaning tile roofs, a treat and rinse or a treat only, both have the same end result it just takes longer to reach that result. Treating and rinsing the tile is more labor intensive and is a larger investment but provides the instant results. The second option which is less of an investment is a treatment only, in which we remove as much moss and debris as we can treat the roof and let the moss and staining naturally disappear in the 3-6 months. We have lots of customers that prefer us not to walk on the tile so just let our office staff know so we can tailor a cleaning package to your needs!

We provide a 1 year limited warranty on all asphalt shingle roofs. If you see green come back within 1 year we will return and clean those areas! Our 1 year limited warranty only covers asphalt shingle roofs and all warranties are valid as long as there are no over hanging limbs within 10 feet of the home and the roofs are correctly pitched. Tree’s drop nutrients and provide shade which harbors moisture and create the perfect environment for that moss and algae growth to come back. If you do have over hanging limbs we do recommend you have the limbs or trees cut back for your safety and the longevity of your home!
