Gutter Cleaning Preparations
A customer doesn’t have to be home and has to do very little for us to clean gutters.
- Make sure a spigot is accessible on the day of the job.
- Please allow surfaces to dry before touching or walking on them.
- Please keep all pets inside during the time of service.
- Close all windows.
- If a landscaping company is regularly scheduled we are most efficiently scheduled just before.
Window Cleaning Preparations
Prep and process for inside work – A technician will arrive at the time of the appointment and knock on the door to announce their arrival. If inside windows are on the schedule they will ask where the customer would like them to start.
Inside window sills need to have all items of value removed. Windows can be skipped if something of value needs to be moved and could possibly break. Windows with a number of items on them like trinkets, pictures or decoration will also potentially be skipped to avoid damaging any personal items.
Inside skylight cleaning is not included to be cleaned in the same way as the other windows. We use a tool that uses no water to clean the entire area around the skylight to clear it of all cobwebs and dust. We then clean the glass with a dry tool as well.
Prep and process for outside window cleaning – For outside-only window cleaning a customer does not have to be present for us to complete our work. Please make sure a spigot is accessible on the day of the job and that we have access to the driveway. We will remove and wipe down screens. If your screens can only be removed from inside the house, please remove those prior to our arrival or we will need access to inside the home. If a screen has become stuck or lodged into its frame due to lack of maintenance or house settling, that screen will not be removed and the window not cleaned. A customer can also instruct us to remove and throw away any screens that might be stuck or already damaged.
Pressure Washing and Soft Washing Process and Preparations
- The customer does not have to be present for us to perform the service.
- Make sure a spigot is accessible on the day of the job.
- Please have all windows and doors closed tightly. Please keep animals and animal food/water dishes inside.
- Please remain indoors during service, especially if soft washing the roof or your home siding.
- A customer needs to make sure that the areas being cleaned are clear of all vehicles, plants, and furniture. Our technicians can move the things a customer might not be able to do themselves. Time is added when we need to move items away and then back into place after cleaning. So adding excessive furniture moves needs to be reflected on the bill.
- Please clean decks and yards of excessive dog poop. We are not expecting pet owners to ensure that 100% of dog poop is gone. The extra money will be added for extreme cases. These messes have to be managed and/or cleaned or bigger messes are made. The extra time can be reflected on a bill by up to $100.
